About me: Well, a degree in Marketing led to certifications in Web Design, Flash (ew ew ew) and self-training in Graphic Design including Illustrator, Freehand and Quark on my Green iMac. I love to use Fireworks, WITH Photoshop plugins and NO I never took the time to actually learn Photoshop. Horrors, I know but then again I know my work is Good regardless. So bleah.

OK. Backtrack a bit... right after the certifications, there was the Bartending Apprenticeship that kicked off the back of a keen interest in Event Planning that had started in high school. Lots of temp work - including at USA Networks! - financed the time to sit on the clock and learn the graphic programmes. Allthough at that time, I spelled it 'programs'. Tried the corporate world, publishing, insurance. Handled it well, but some plants die when you bring them inside. Learned that the part where it pays the bills on time was really nice. And then remembered that bill collectors don't dictate MY life and they can all kiss it for a bit while we figure out this Life vibe.

DEEEP into Event Promotions and then Gourmet Catering for a while. Happy times! Bye-bye, annoying biills.

Bit of Tragedy, reminding us how Fragile life really is. Wish the partners the best in their new endeavours and hopped Back on Bartending. Then more Bartending. And more Bartending, sipping on a now Perfected Cosmo. Glad I know how to make a Curlytini. And... again with the Bartending. Enough is enough, nudge it up to Restaurant Management, where we sit now, quite happily and getting into whole-heartedly.

Life is Grand, and it's a Beach and a Ball and it is definitely not a drag. A bit of a Drag Queen at times, but dah-ling with a bit of cold Chardonnay anything can be tolerable. Which leads to Aspirin with lots of Fluids and so the World Turns. Nothing new under the sun, we are not the First and will not be the Last to do and not do all these Things. How many islands in the Bahamas have YOU lived in? Visited? Try a cold beer at the Goat Pond Bar or the namesake drink at the first place to ever mix up a Goombay Smash. Shhh... you got to go there to find out. And you got to Find Out to Go There.

Do you like to eat? Cook? Drink? Appreciate Fine Cuisine created by a trained hand... and also the Native Staples cooked up by local talent? Then you'll like me. I probably like you too.
