Had lunch with the sis at Seafront Sushi yesterday. Did you hear? It seems everytime you eat at Seafront people call up and say, "I heard you were at Seafront today!". So don't go there if you want to be incognito - apparently.
Anywho, had the Salmon Teryaki Bento Lunch Box. What an excellent choice and value! A spring roll, 2 shrimp shumai, a chunk of Salmon with teriyaki sauce, a bowl of white rice plus half a California roll and a bowl of miso soup - for $12! Well, besides the fact that I like my shrimp shumai steamed not fried, it was a hit with my mouth. Sis had a salmon roll that appeared to be batter-dipped and fried - not my personal fave but not terrible either. The all-time favourite Bahamas Dream was as luscious as always, as was the Salmon Teriyaki in my bento box.
Seafront Sushi continues to be one of our fave spots to pig out. I don't even care if no one else at the table likes the Volcano Roll, I DO and next time I am getting TWO of them. OK, no I won't actually get two, because I have to save space for the Pink Panther new roll. or maybe the Spicy Tuna. F a low carb on Seafront Days, just will save all the calories and carb counts for that one meal and drink water the rest of the time. More on sushi later - like nigiri too! Tired today, and there's still a bit of drinking to be done with my girl Shan.
